So... What is "Apostolic"?
Put simply, it means the church of the Apostles; before the church was dragged into the dead ritualism of Rome or splintered into a thousand daughter denominations. The True Church during the days of the first Apostles was "Alive"... It was filled with power and light. The Apostolic Church was one empowered with the gifts of the Spirit; prophecy, miracles, faith, and the Pentecostal infilling of the Holy Ghost. The "Apostolic Message" in the first century swept thousands out of darkness into the Kingdom of God through repentance, baptism in the Name of Jesus, and the infilling of the Holy Spirit. (Acts 2:37,38,39) The "Apostolic Method" of meeting both " publicly" and from " house to house " allowed them to live and share their faith in real and tangable ways. It wasn't simply "one-way" communication from an orator to an audiance. They were able to search the scriptures together, and grow in relationship with one another as they grew in their walk with God. That was the Apostolic Church then and it is the Apostolic Church Today. Apostolic is not a Denomination... It is simply the original
